Debbie Fite, C. M. T.

Certified Massage Therapist

I am a graduate of Charles Page High School and a lifelong resident of the Tulsa and Sand Springs area. I received my massage technician and therapist certifications from the Massage Therapy Institute of Oklahoma (M.T.I.O.) and I have 15 years experience. I am also certified in Pre-Natal, Chronic Pain, Geriatric and Sports massage.

After earning my certification I worked with a group called ‘Mind Over M.S.’, whose work was very successful working with multiple sclerosis patients. I also moved to Oklahoma City for a short time. On April 19, 1995, I was in a building at the state capital complex when the Murrah Building was bombed. I waited for my Tulsa massage colleagues to arrive and then spent days at the Myriad Center working with many therapists who came from across the country to help the rescue workers. This was is still most rewarding work I’ve ever done in my life.

Shortly after everyone went home, I, too, came home to Tulsa to work at the Fifth Street Fitness Club and was privileged to work with a group of marathon runners who were training for the 100th Boston Marathon. This was the beginning of a passion for working with athletes. I have been honored to work with various levels of athletes from amateur, and collegiate, and even professional athletes. At the same time I participate in Y-Me’s Camp Hope for breast cancer survivors several times a year, and I still enjoy working with older clients.
